SUPPORTING YOUNG TALENTS
Women in India are creating their own Niche in the Society and SANIA VATS is one of them in the world of Sports. She is a Jr. Squash Champion ranking 184th in PSA Ranking. Rotary Club of Calcutta Yuvis supported her by being official sponsor of SANYA VATS for her participation in British Open under 19 Jr Championship in UK from 2nd to 6th Jan 2019. We received a proposal to sponsor the 6th and the last semester fees for Seema Sukla who was doing Hotel Management from IHM Govt of India and was a meritorious student who so far was always topping in her class. Her father was a driver who had an accident 18 months ago and lost his job, her mother who use to run the house with petty stitching jobs had Fistula and was without work for last 8 months. The last semester fees of Rs. 66500/- was due and was paid by RC Calcutta Yuvis. Now, we have received mail from her that she got selected through campus placement at RADISSON BLU DWARKA (NEW DELHI) , a 5 Star Hotel , as a front desk associate.
