Projects / Plans for the Rotary Year 2020-21

CLUB SERVICE

( Rtn. Manoj Pasari )
  1. Acknowledging Members’ Marriage Anniversaries and Birthdays of Members, Anne’s, Children.
  2. Recognizing the personal and professional achievements of Members, Spouses, kids and other close family members.
  3. 10th Installation Ceremony – Saturday, 4th July, 2020, Virtual over Zoom from 6.00pm.    
  4.  Out station Excursion/Diwali get together of Members with Family during November/December 2020.
  5. One ANNE/KIDS as a Speaker in one RWM every month.
  6. Attending District Conference January, 2021.  
  7. DG Visit in March, 2020.
  8. Annual Holi Meet (2020 ) ( Meet to be organized by  Ann’s /Kids)
  9. Guest Speaker once in every month ( 15/20minutes time)
  10.  Debate / Discussion on any current Topic in any one RWM of the month.
  11. Publishing Monthly Club Bulletin “YUVIS”.
  12. Monthly Board Meetings at Regular Meeting Venue.
  13. Organizing Club Assembly and COTS in June.
  14. At least 4 Goodwill Visits and 4 Joint meetings – Target Nepal, and Co-hosting 2 Dist. Events.
  15. Joint Meeting with all the Clubs of Zone.
  16. Monthly Meetings with Rotary 5
  17. Membership Growth at least 10 to15% Growth and special emphasis on inducting Female Members.
  18. Encouraging regular attendance by rewarding Members for 100% Attendance on Monthly basis.
  19.  Club Awards for different category to motivate members and their family members. (on next installation date)
  20. Encouraging one member to act as a President /secretary/host etc.in one RWM every two months.

FOCUS AREA-PEACE AND CONFLICT PREVENTION/RESOLUTION

  1. Organize a peace walk on the International peace day.
  2. Organize Seminars on International Relationship and matters of International Conflict.
  3. Upload Peace related matters on Rotary and Rotary Related sites.

FOCUS AREA—DISEASE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT

  1. Organize IOL Screening camps preferably at new locations and execute the Surgeries under Global Grant.
  2. Organize Blood Donation and Health Checkup Camps,
  3. Organize sports meet for especially abled children.
  4. Distribution of Artificial Limb.
  5. Organize Heart Surgeries for poor and needy Children.
  6. Organize Thalassemia Awareness Camp.
  7. Distribution of Covid-19 relief material and foods to the real needy community in remote villages under global grants.
  8. Distribution of Covid 19 relieve material at CMS

FOCUS AREA -- WATER AND SANITATION

  1. Providing Safe Drinking Water to Children of at least Fresh 50 Schools through CSR, HG & GG.
  2. Construction of at least 200+ new Toilets at needy Villages through District Grant/ Helping Grant/RIHM and under CSR.
  3. Adopting certain localities to keep the Area clean with the help of local School Children and Unemployed Youth of the locality in coordination with Local Municipality – New areas to be identified.

FOCUS AREA –MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH

  1. Organize Health check-up camps at Schools for under-privileged children.
  2.  Cervical Cancer Detection and Awareness, Polio Awareness, Child Heart Surgery under H2H
  3. Supporting the treatment of needy children on a case to case basis.
  4. Organize a Thalassemia Awareness Camp.

FOCUS AREA - BASIC EDUCATION AND LITERACY

  1. Build a new School for under privileged Children with CSR.
  2. Distribute school bag kits and Uniforms to needy students at different school .
  3. Administration and maintenance of Two Happy School under YUVIS banner.

F. FOCUS AREA – ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

  1. Focus on Employment Generation through Vocational Training like Computer Training, Sewing and Embroidery Training, Beautician Course, Driver’s training, Mechanic training, Nurse Training and Servicing of Water -Purifier etc.
  2. Construction of houses for the cyclone Amphan affected villgers in the sunderban area and raise their standard of living.
  3. Providing Rickshaw Vans, Hand carts, Tools and small mechanical equipments for generating self employment.
  4. Felicitate and help needy Non Cricketing Sports Personalities.
  5. Creation of a data bank under Know Your Number (Weight, Height, Sugar level and Blood Pressure) for members and Rotarians.
  6. Distribution of Fruit Tree Saplings.
  7. “Meet A Wish” Project for Terminally Ill Children with “Rotary 5”
  8. Celebrating Diwali with Kids at orphanage.

INTERNATIONAL SERVICE

  1. To undertake and execute Virtual projects internationally.
  2. Visit overseas Rotary Club Meetings and Projects whenever any of the member is visiting foreign country. Exchange Club Flag with them and explore the possibilities of Joint Project.
  3. Celebrating various International Days like International Men’s day/ Women’s’ Day etc.
  4. Inviting Visiting Rotarians and providing assistance to International Rotarians from other Countries to our Club.
  5. Promote MPHF / PHF and Major Donor. Contribute to the TRF a minimum of US$100 by each member.
  6. Apply for at least Two New Global Grant.

YOUTH SERVICE

  1. Recognizing and Felicitating Young Achievers in various fields of Sports/ Education/ Profession.
  2. Organize an Inter-school Quiz contest/ Sit and Draw art contest.
  3. Felicitate and help needy  Sports Personalities.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

  1. Publicity of various Club Projects through Electronic and Print Media, Web media like Face Book, Twitter etc. sending Club Bulletin to eminent personalities and Senior Govt. Officials of the Community
  2. Organize Community based Social Events to promote Rotary.
  3. Invite Community Personalities to Club Meetings and Projects to speak about Rotary.
  4. Create Website of the Club
  5. Display Club activities Collage at various service project Venue.
