Community service 2020

Wash & WinS: Rotary Club of Belur constructed & inaugurated Toilets and wash stations in 2 schools under Global Grant GG#1536788 & 12 schools under Global Grant GG#1869981 to maintain clean environment and Personal Hygiene in schools. Besides these RCB also installed water filters to these schools for clear drinking water. In December we inaugurated School Toilet blocks, hand-washing stations and drinking water stations at different schools in & around Howrah, Hooghly, Uluberia & other areas.

RCB regularly conducted training for the teachers, parents & students in these schools. RCB donated 10 water Filters to different schools of the near-by areas on their special request. 1 we have given to our RCC also with additional cost.

RCC: Regular English Classes, Sewing classes ,Setting-up of Library, Blood Donation camp etc in all of our drives, RCC at Arupota was our constant companion.We have donated 1 water filter & sewing machines also to them.

Environment: This was constantly on our agenda & To Supplement the initiative ,a ‘Go Green campaign with food for thought” Quiz is held every Saturday with a question being published in Bulletin.The winner is announced in the meeting & a token plant with planter handed over to them. We have distributed organic vegetables among all to create awareness.Seed Plantation Drive, Energy.
