Rotary Club of Adyar was chartered in the year 1985 and comes under Rotary International District 3232, club no.22785. The elite members of this exclusive club come from various vocations and are leaders in their own professions, united together in pursuit of working towards the great ideals of Rotary. The club is a close knit one, and members attend the Tuesday evening meetings at Hotel Savera, Chennai, India. They spend their time and money to enjoy the fellowship and help in the Club’s service projects. The entire family is invited once a month for fellowship dinner. Their children have an active Annettes Club and the spouses also have their own club called the Inner Wheel Club of Adyar, which does a good number of service projects independently. The monthly bulletin is called the Banyan Tree.
